School lockdown results in 2 arrests

DECATUR-- Two 18 year olds and a BB gun have been taken into custody after causing a disturbance that resulted in Our Lady of Lourdes School to go into a temporary lockdown today.
Lady of Lourdes President Mary Rose Hagenbach says the school went into immediate lockdown after students and faculty reported seeing suspicious people outside of the school and saw what they perceived to be a handgun.
Hagenbach says shortly before noon the police department was called to investigate the individuals.  At that same time a phone call was sent out to parents alerting them of the situation.
The lockdown lasted roughly 90 minutes and was lifted when police said they caught the two suspects.
Both suspects, whose names have not been released, are facing charges of disorderly conduct.
Our Lady of Lourdes serves students K through 8th grade and has roughly 240 enrolled.
