EHS students donate time to community service

DECATUR-- Things don’t magically happen and gaining an appreciation for the hard work that goes into community service, is what Eisenhower instructor Bret Reedy says he hopes his students learn as part of Community Clean-up Day.

Reedy says he hopes students take more than their 4 service hours out of the program…

Sophomore students Brandon Steele and Blake Faith both said they felt like they got as much out of it as they put into it...

Over 500 freshman and sophomores from Eisenhower took part in the two-day program that had them going everywhere from the Animal Shelter, to Catholic Charities to the YMCA.
