Jasmine Thai has its grand opening today and offers a blend of traditional Thai food as well as several different kinds of sushi. “Our sushi menu is large, we offer it with both fish and vegetarian. The goal of our whole menu is to have a light, traditional feel without using heavy oils or fryers,” Chiligiris said.
Chiligiris said after seeing the work put into the city infrastructure he decided to make an investment.
“Things like this are the important next step. The first steps are done, we have the downtown improved, we have the streets fixed; we have the sidewalks widened; now it’s time for local businesses to step up. It’s up to us to make all these things come together and to make downtown a destination.”
The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner Monday through Sunday and has a full bar. They are open for both dine in and carry out.
