DECATUR-- Make a difference for yourself and your community by becoming an affiliated member of the Macon County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) before a disaster takes place!
The Macon County CERT Program is now taking applications for its next Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training course on February 11, 13, 18, 20, and 26 at the Warrensburg Fire Department from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. each evening.
The 20-hour course will include topics on community response, disasters, fire suppression and safety, search and rescue, medical operations, terrorism, disaster psychology, and other aspects of preparedness.
