“The right to keep and bear arms was enshrined in the Bill of Rights by our Founding Fathers.  They merely stated and itemized the natural rights given to us by our Creator,” said McCarter.  “Natural rights are ours by virtue of our birth.  We are free to exercise these rights.  They are not, nor ever were, within the power of government to grant, allow or prohibit.”
 
“I will not stand for any diminishment of the Second Amendment or any other Right of the people as acknowledged in the Bill of Rights,” said McCarter.
