DECATUR-- With just two more days left in the early voting period, Macon County has topped their 2008 numbers.
So far this year over 5,800 voters have cast a ballot either using the no excuse absentee period, grace period, or early voting ballots.
To go along with the 5,800 voters, over 2,000 ballots have been requested by voters through mail, nursing home voters, overseas voters, and military personnel.
Tomorrow is the last day of grace period and early voting and Monday is the last day of no excuse voting.
The County Clerk’s office will be open today from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
