Water powered car expected to surface out of Lincoln College



LINCOLN, IL-- An Illinois man has built a hydrogen hybrid car that he hopes will revolutionize the automobile industry.  Cameron  McElwrath, manager of information systems at Lincoln College, has spent the last 4 years developing a fuel system that runs entirely on water.  McElwrath says his motor greatly increases gas mileage…



At 45 miles per gallon, the 2003 Mitsubishi Diamante gets nearly double the fuel mileage as it had when running on gasoline alone.  McElwrath says he hopes to one day pitch his invention to major car manufacturers.
