The new lunch program that has been making rounds across the nation has finally made its way to DPS’s cafeterias. The program spearheaded by Aramark will focus on giving kids a more balanced lunch, including the requirement of at least 1 fruit or vegetable on their tray for it to be considered a lunch. Milk will also have stricter regulations with any flavored milk such as chocolate or strawberry needing to be fat free and white milk a maximum of 1%.
