Political activist group looks to over turn'corporations are people' decision
SPRINGFIELD-- The crusade to overturn the “corporations are people” decision is coming to Illinois. David Cobb is one of the national leaders of Move to Amend, which drives against the U. S. Supreme Court Citizens United ruling. Cobb also says that monetary contributions should not carry the same protections as political speech.
Cobb says his group is nonpartisan and should appeal to any principled liberal or conservative who is tired of politics and government being run by what he calls the “uber-elite” of their respective parties.
