DECATUR-- No, your eyes were not deceiving you yesterday as you drove down 22nd street in Decatur.  Cars were lined up for blocks in order to take advantage of gas prices as low as $1.88 at the Road Ranger.  Americans for Prosperity were offering discounted gas in order to highlight some of the presidents failed energy policies.  Illinois director of Americans for Prosperity David From says this is an effective way to get peoples attention…

From says by displaying complex policies in simplified terms, such as offering gas at a discount; it is easy to make an impression on people.  He says that AFP subsidizes the cost difference between the prices, but the extra money is worth the publicity.
