FORSYTH-- The rumors that the Village of Forsyth was looking to reestablish various advisory committees can be chalked up to just that, rumors. At their board meeting last night, Mayor Hap Gilbert stated that he did not feel that this was a good time to create committees because of the lack of input he had received from the trustees. The board just last year voted to abolish the advisory committees. Trustee Eric Moore says he would be willing to reestablish select committees if people lobbied for them on a case to case basis.
