DECATUR - Millikin University and the Macon County Coroner's office are continuing to investigate what caused the death of a Millikin professor.  

Dr. Larry Troy, professor of sociology, collapsed on campus Tuesday afternoon.  Attempts by students, faculty, and eventually EMTs proved ineffective.  Troy was transported to DMH, where he was declared dead.  

The university is offering counseling services by calling 424-6277 or through Employee Assistance at 464-2339.  A memorial service is planned for Friday on the Millikin campus.
