DECATUR - Now that demolition has been established as the mode of change to the garage attached to the Barnes Citizens Building in downtown Decatur, what comes after that step is the new discussion.
Details are still being worked over how and when such a demolition would occur, but City Manager Ryan McCrady says future use will be considered…
The garage will likely come down sometime this winter. The holdup over details still includes ownership of the three properties on which the structure rests and the presence of the air units on top of the garage.
