Death of the Okaw: not friends anymore



The breakup of the Okaw Valley Conference is getting ugly.  Maroa-Forsyth has been left on the outside of the nine-team off split, and Decatur Herald & Review executive sports editor Mark Tupper says it’s all about jealousy. 

Better teams and better fields and equipment lead to bad blood…

Tupper says the majority of schools feel the same way about St. Teresa, so the situation could become even more clouded.

The move would happen for the 2014-15 athletic year.
