MT. ZION-- Ameren will be making its way back to Mt. Zion in October with an updated route for the electric transmission line route. This will be the third and final opportunity for area residents to make their way out to see the two final proposed routes Ameren plans to take. The Illinois Rivers Electric Transmission line will run from Palmyra, Mo. to Sugar Creek, Ind. by way of Mt. Zion. Ameren stresses that neither of these proposed lines are finalized and they want input from their customers. The event will be held on Tuesday, October 2nd at the Mt. Zion Lions Center in Mt. Zion.
