Leader sentenced to 60 years in 2010 murder-robbery
DECATUR - The mastermind of a 2010 armed robbery that resulted in the death of 29-year old Ishmael Adams is being sentenced to 60 years behind bars.
39-year old Bryain Young must serve 54 years of the sentence fully on first-degree murder and armed robbery counts, with an enhancement for using firearms.
Three teenagers at the time, then 15-year old Michael Guise, 18-year old Johnathan Maclin, and 19-year old Ryan Walker, are all serving terms currently; Guise, the shooter, and Maclin for 35 years and Walker, the driver, is still awaiting sentencing.
