Just under 2 weeks away, Decatur’s first ever Lake Fest at Nelson Park is in its final planning stages. With both Lake Fest and the Bassmasters event taking up a majority of Nelson Park, parking will be at a premium at the Lakefront. To combat overcrowding at the lake, there will be shuttles offered from multiple locations...
That was Bryce Swanson with the Decatur Area Visitors Bureau. Plans to meet with event organizers are scheduled for later this week and a full map and shuttle schedule will be made available at the end of the week.
