RNC Day 2: Ladies' Night and Opening Speakers



As Day 2 of the Republican National Convention (the real Day 1, after Hurricane/Tropical Storm Isaac blew through) hits full swing, all the major player are out in force.  

As the RNC attempts to pack 4 days of activity into 3, Illinois’ delegation is ready, including Congressman Aaron Schock…

Schock says the media attention on Hurricane Isaac has helped bring national awareness to the RNC also.  Mitt Romney is in Tampa today, as tonight’s speakers feature include his wife Anne Romney and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.  

Meanwhile, it's unofficially Ladies' Day in Tampa.  In response to the Democratic "War on Women" accusations, the Republican Party is marching at least 18 female speakers to the stage today and tonight in the Tampa Bay Times Forum.
