Water issues will be the focus tonight at the regular meeting of the Decatur City Council.  Black & Veatch, an engineering consultation corporation, will present a drought update along with ways to better use water resources as talks continue in the search for additional water supplies.

ADM’s water usage will also be discussed, as the agribusiness company is requesting permission to build temporary wells.  The council will also hear a study on an Asian Carp Barrier for Lake Decatur.  It all starts at 5:30 on the 3^rd floor of the Civic Center.
