Two Macon men are facing robbery charges after a sheriff’s deputy discovered a stolen lawn mower and ATV during a follow visit.
The Macon County Sheriff’s office says 28-year old Timothy Cook and 27-year old Matthew Craig stole the items from a residence on Stocks Road near Dalton City in July. The pair returned to commit the robbery weeks after Cook’s car broke down in front of the house and was towed by the sheriff’s office.
Both men admitted to involvement and were booked on charges Monday. Cook and Craig have posted bail and are due for arraignment September 24th.
