The United Way’s day of Action is just under two weeks away and Debbie Bogel with the United Way of Decatur and Mid-Illinois wants to remind you that it isn’t too late to sign up.  The Day of Action is the largest two day charitable event in Macon County and already has over 600 volunteers.  It is a good way to show support for your community’s charities, but Bogel says, the volunteer efforts aren’t just aimed at charitable organizations…



Volunteer activities range from cleaning, to painting and remodeling.  You can register by logging on to their website at uwdecatur.org.  They are accepting registrations until August 22^nd.
