DECATUR – The National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) state political action committee, NFIB Illinois SAFE Trust has endorsed the campaign of Republican Mike McElroy for the 48th District of the Illinois Senate. The NFIB is the state’s largest small business advocacy organization.
“Small business is the backbone of this state’s economy and we need someone in Springfield to work against excessive government regulations and fight for our free economy,” the NFIB letter of endorsement said.
“It is clear that you best understand small business issues and will fight to ensure Illinois has a strong economy and good climate for job growth.”
“I am honored to have the support of the small business owners in my district,” Mike McElroy said. “I look forward to working with the NFIB and its members to get Illinois back on the track of job and business creation.”
