Millikin University has found itself alongside schools such as the University of Illinois and Northwestern on Forbes list of 500 best colleges in the nation.  Millikin is one of 26 colleges from Illinois to be represented on the list.  Institutions were chosen based on data taken from student evaluations, 4 year graduation rates, and salaries of alumni, among other factors.  Millikin ranked at 474.  Other central Illinois colleges included, Illinois State University, Bradley, and Illinois Wesleyan.
