A Mowequa area driver is dead and 5 others injured after a semi-truck collided with a van Friday morning in Christian County.  Christian County Sheriffs deputies and the Illinois State Police responded to the accident about 5 miles south of Assumption at around 7:45am.  The van was carrying children from Kemmerer Village child care for the Central A&M school district.  Three passengers were airlifted to Springfield with serious injuries.  No names are being released while the investigation continues.
