After being one of the first counties to combat synthetic drug use; the Macon County Sheriff’s office has turned its attention towards another drug… heroin.  Nationwide heroin usage has gone up within the last few months and Sheriff Tom Schneider says Macon County is not immune…



Schneider says he feels confident in his officer’s ability to crack down on the drug use, much like they have in the previous year in regards to synthetic drugs and bath salts.
