Decatur Woman Charged with Witness Tampering in Cunningham Case
A Decatur woman is officially being charged with communicating with a witness in an attempt to get him to change his testimony in the trial of Demarta Cunningham.
31-year old Miranda Gharst is accused of working with Cunningham through jail phone calls in order to get a 21-year old Cunningham and 27-year old Demetrius Beavers allegedly beat and robbed on July 16th.
Cunningham is already facing 6 counts of first-degree murder in the April shooting of his cousin Freedom Cunningham and his wife Central. Gharst is being held in the Macon County Jail on $50,000 bond and is set to reappear August 28th.
