The groundbreaking for both MacArthur and Eisenhower high schools might be the second best pieces of news that DPS 61 receives this summer.  According to their numbers, the high schools are graduating over 92% of their students while the dropout rate has dwindled to 5%.  Lawrence Trimble, Dropout Coordinator with DPS 61 says a big push has been made by the district to encourage community engagement outside of school walls…



The school district has also been working with the state’s attorney’s office and the probation office in order to work more with students who need the extra help.
