Final Breakup of Okaw Valley Conference Seems Imminent; Final Save Attempt Coming
Central A&M is jumping on the train of teams intent on leaving the Okaw Valley. The school board voted Monday to leave the conference if at least five other schools exit with them. The Raiders join Meridian, Shelbyville, Sullivan, and Tuscola, who already approved an exit with the same terms, while Warrensburg-Latham is set to make a decision tomorrow night.
Can anything save the Okaw? Argenta-Oreana will propose keeping the current 12 teams while potentially adding four more, but the Bombers would also leave if a majority decided to go.
