School leaders who are concerned with teacher pensions getting pushed onto them should not turn to the Illinois school superintendent.  Chris Koch (cook) says it is necessary to fix the issue and it has to start somewhere…



Koch also says that it is important to fix the systemic problems right now because things will worsen as time goes on.  A final decision could come in a special session this summer pending the outcome of discussions involving the governor and top lawmakers.
