An Urbana area judge has sentenced a central Illinois man to 14 years in prison after he was convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol for the sixth time. 42 year old Jeffery Allen of Monticello pleaded guilty earlier this week in Urbana to aggravated DUI. He was arrested on May 2nd after driving his van into a creek. Prior to this conviction Allen had three prior DUI convictions and two prior aggravated DUI as well as a conviction for leaving the scene of an accident involving injury.
