A Macon County Sheriff Deputy has been arrested after hitting a man with his squad car on June 29^th.  Deputy Brian Duff was arrested and charged with aggravated reckless driving on Tuesday after the Decatur Police Department’ s Fatal Accident Investigation Team ruled Duff was operating his car recklessly when he hit 55 year old Tom Lennox and pinned the man between his truck and the squad car.  Lennox is alive, although in critical condition and is being held at Decatur Memorial hospital with injuries to his head and legs.  Toxicology reports indicate that Duff was not under the influence of any drugs or alcohol at the time of the accident.
