While the building of a new facility is still very much up in the air, the Decatur Police Department will be receiving some new state-of-the-art equipment.  Police Chief Todd Walker says the new equipment will allow for better data when assessing a situation such as a traffic accident…



Walker says that the new machine will use measurements to detail what exactly happened at the scene of an accident.  The updated equipment will also allow for officers to diagnose a scene faster, which will clear up roadways and intersections where accidents occur.
