Illinois Group Looks To Improve College Attendance

Illinois educators and officials are looking for ways to boost the state's college graduation rate. The goal is to get to the point where 60 percent of adults in Illinois have some sort of college degree or career certificate by 2025. Right now the figure is about 41 percent. The Illinois Student Assistance Commission is promoting the goal under the label "College Changes Everything." The Commission is focusing on how to prepare students for college and keep them once they enrolled.
