The Decatur Park District will be capping off today’s 4th of July celebrations with a firework show over Lake Decatur. The fireworks will begin as soon as the night falls, approximately at 9:15 p.m. Becky Newton, with the Park District says there really isn’t a bad seat in the house…
The fireworks display will close out a day-long celebration in Nelson Park which will also include a benefit run/walk, a car show and a free concert by the Decatur Park Singers.
