A recent e-mail scam involving the Macon County State’s Attorney’s and Sheriff’s office may have you confused.  The scam asks for personal information to pay an online fine due to missing jury duty.  Sheriff Tom Schneider says beware…



Both offices point out that jurors will never be contacted through email if such a situation ever does arise.
