Intense heat can cause more than a sweat. According to the Illinois EPA, much of Central Illinois, including Decatur has been put under an Air Quality Alert. Biggs says if you are part of the sensitive group be sure to stay out of the heat as much as you can and to make sure you have your medication with you at all times.
