Temperatures are expected to soar into the triple digits over the next couple days, so the Red Cross is opening a cooling center to provide residents without air relief from the heat.  The center will be located at the Mid Illinois Chapter (2674 N Main St Decatur, IL) and will be open from 10am to 7pm today and tomorrow.  The Red Cross center will be open in addition to the one already located at 707 E. Wood St. in Decatur.
