The US Government is trying to make HIV tests more readily available by allowing you to purchase a test at a drug store and take it at home.  The all-inclusive package would require a small blood sample from the user and a waiting period of 48 hours for a lab to confirm your tests.  Owner of Dale’s Southlake Pharmacy, Dale Coley says, while the idea is a good one, selling such a test will require some more hands on work of the seller…



The Center for Disease Control and Prevention are saying that the test is just as accurate as the ones you will take in a doctor office.  Health officials estimate that 1.1 million Americans are infected with HIV, but as many as 20% of them don’t know they carry the virus.
