Pat Quinn certainly hasn’t made any friends with his recent decisions to shut down prisons throughout Illinois and also eliminating the Illinois Cares Rx program that assisted senior citizens with their prescription medication costs.  He can now add State. Rep Bill Mitchell to the list of lawmakers who think there needs to be a change in Springfield.  Mitchell says the focus always seems to be on Cook County whenever decisions are made…



This is not the first time that Mitchell has spoken ill of the way politics are handled in Illinois.  Last year he suggested that Cook County become its own state separate from the rest of Illinois.
