Several Non-Profit Charities Have Been Award Art Grants

You or your child will soon be able to participate in activities such as learning harmonica or learning new forms of art, thanks to the Decatur Area Arts Council awarding over $2,500 in grants to area non-profit groups.  Stella Carnahan, Administrative Director at the Arts Council says awarding non-profit groups gives them a chance to bring new experiences to the community…

As part of the grants awarded the Decatur Blues Society will be offering free harmonica classes for beginning players and advanced players alike at the Decatur Public Library and the Mt. Zion District Library will be offering two art programs, one for children and one for adults.
