June is Bike Safety Month, and Decatur is pedaling towards more safe places to ride your bicycle around town.  Amidst the construction in the downtown area, City Development Planner Stephanie Ashe Brown says extra measures are being taken to make Decatur a more biker friendly community…


Brown says shared bike lanes are also a possibility as improvements continue. The rerouting of truck traffic out of downtown and the slowing of traffic speeds will also allow for safer biking.
