A Decatur man’s reign of freedom isn’t lasting long. Kirk Hill-Patterson was off probation for lying to police for exactly one day before he was arrested for stabbing a woman in the eye with a lit cigarette. The incident occurred in front of the Elbow Room on N. Woodford St. at around 2am on June 7th. Surveillance video captured Hill-Patterson. He was arraigned yesterday on aggravated battery charges and could face 2 to 5 years in prison.
