If the weather stays the course and rain refuses to fall from the sky, you could be looking at a higher price for corn and soybeans.  John Hawkins of the Illinois Farm Bureau says that traders know the fields are drying out and it could cause concern for farmers attempting to sell their produce…



Hawkins says some farmers in Southern Illinois have already plowed under their corn and beans, which were not coming up, and will make an insurance claim.
