One of the most sure ways to get into trouble with law enforcement is to attack a police officer, and that’ exactly what landed a Mt. Zion woman in jail.  Macon County sheriff’s deputies were in the process of arresting the 51-year old woman’s husband for domestic battery when she got between her husband and the officers and allegedly slapped and shoved one deputy.  She was arrested for aggravated battery of a peace officer and resisting arrest.
