Ever wondered how to properly bandage a wound, perform cpr or handle severe weather?  Well now there’s an app for that.  The Red Cross has officially released its first ever app for smartphones.  The app will be available for both android and iPhone users and will be free of charge.  Features included in the app are; step by step instructions for first aid scenarios, safety videos and preparedness tips for severe weather emergencies.  You can download the app by searching for American Red Cross in the Apple Store for iPhones and the Google Play store for Android.
