A Decatur meat thief’s reign of terror is over.  Police arrested a 54-year old late last week after he was caught stuffing steaks in his pants at the Kroger on N. Water Street.  Authorities found more steaks and meat taken from the Kroger on W. King Street in a search of his car, which also proved to be stolen. 

Surveillance footage shows the man making multiple trips into the stores to collect the beef.  The man is being held in the Macon County Jail.
