Winter storms to hit Central Illinois this weekend

DECATUR-- The next wave of winter storms is headed our way and should be here right in time for the weekend. 
The National Weather Service is anticipating a snow storm to hit Macon County and much of Central Illinois on Friday evening, carrying into the early morning hours of Saturday. 
NWS Meteorologists are anticipating this storm to bring upwards of 4 inches of snow as well as some sleet and freezing rain. 
The storm is currently making its way through the western plain states and is expected to hit the western part of the state on Friday afternoon. 
We will keep you updated to the status of the storm throughout the rest of the week.
