Running today (Friday) through Sunday the Kirkland Fine Arts Center will be hosting the annual Winter Antique Show.
Ed Walker of Ed Walker Fine arts says this is one of the largest shows in the area; and he tries to reach as many people as possible by offering a wide variety of antiques, art, and collectables.
“We’ve got a large collection of silver, some high end gold jewelry, oriental art, rugs, toys, and various collectables.” Walker said, “we really try and appeal to a wide based audience.”
Doors are open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day. The cost is only $2 to enter and browse, and that 2 bucks is good for the whole weekend.
All the proceeds gained from the entrance fee go towards the Arts program at Millikin University.
