Three Questions With

We asked business leaders and community members to let us know what they are reading, watching and listening to.  Some of the answers might surprise you!

This week's "3 Questions With" focuses on Julie Moore, Director, Community and Government Relations for Decatur Memorial Hospital who responded:

I love to read, but lately between kids, work and life I don't get much of a chance.  I'm even behind on my Martha Stewart Living magazines! But it's time for a little "me-time," so I'm actually starting a book and I'm not even on vacation!  This one is: 1st to Die by James Patterson. I've never read his work, but my husband Doug is addicted to his books, as are some close friends of ours.  It's a thriller murder story-- just the kind of thing I love.

And keeping with that theme, I'm a huge Law and Order fan, so that dominates my TV time.  Criminal Intent and the SVU series are my favorites, but I'll watch any of the shows.  Lucky for me, there's almost always an episode on somewhere on cable!  The only movie I've been out to see lately is 27 Dresses.  Definitely a girl's movie -- so I took my two daughters, and we had a great time, at the Avon, of course!

In the music world, I've become a country fan over the last few years....probably because I can actually understand the words of the songs!  My favorite artists are Kenny Chesney and Brad Paisley, with Rascal Flatts as my favorite group of the moment.  We've seen all three in concert -- Rascal Flatts and Brad Paisely at the State Fair a couple of years ago.  As far as my I-Pod goes, I'm loading it up with Queen, because it's good music to work out to, and it's time to head
back to the gym!

Check in every week as we spotlight a different business leader or member of the community!
