DECATUR-- The final of the four defendants convicted in the shooting death of Ishmael Adams has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for Class X armed robbery.
21 year old Ryan Walker, who worked as a youth mentor in his church, confessed that he provided guns used in the crime and was the driver of the vehicle used in the murder.
Of the other defendants, 39 year old Bryain Young is serving a 60 year sentence for planning the robbery, 20 year old Johnathan Maclin and 18 year old Michael Guise are both serving 35 year sentences. Guise, who was labeled as the shooter, pleaded guilty as part of his plea deal.
Walker will serve his sentence at 85% and receive credit for his time served, will be eligible for parole in 2020.
